Shi qualified as a Lawyer in PR China in 1988 and he graduated with a Master of Laws degree from the Sichuen University in 1999. Since 1995, he commenced private legal practice and he is now a Senior Lawyer and a partner in the Grandall Law Group. Mr Shi is also a Specialist Mediator of the Sichuen Higher People’s Court and an accredited Arbitrator of the Chengdu Arbitration Commission. In academia, he is also appointed by the Sichuen Normal University and the Southwest University for Nationalities
as an Adjunct Professor.
With respect to public appointments, Mr Shi is currently the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of the Sichuen Lawyers Association, a Director of the All China Lawyers Association and the Vice Chairman of the Sichuen Law Society (Jurisprudence Section). Since 2008, Mr Shi has been appointed to be a Member of the Chinese’s People’s Political Consultative Conference (National Committee).In November 2014, Shi was awarded a medal of honour from the Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (National Committee) acknowledging his contribution to the Chinese socialist development.
